Barb Goffman has won the Agatha, Macavity, and Silver Falchion awards, as well as the 2020 Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine Readers Award for her story “Dear Emily Etiquette.” She’s been nominated for major crime-writing awards thirty-three times, including fourteen Agatha Award nominations (a category record), and multiple nominations for the Anthony, Macavity, and Derringer awards. She’s currently a finalist for the Agatha, Anthony, and Macavity awards for “Dear Emily Etiquette,” which you can read on her website. Barb’s newest story is “A Tale of Two Sisters” in the anthology Murder on the Beach.
Later in 2021, she will have new stories in the September/October issue of Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine, issue 10 of Black Cat Mystery Magazine, and in the anthologies Malice Domestic Presents: Mystery Most Diabolical and Monkey Business: Crime Fiction Inspired by the Films of the Marx Brothers.
