How to Write a Sustainable Paranormal Series

Author and award winning filmmaker, Dänna Wilberg, shares her views on writing a sustainable paranormal series by mixing fact with fiction and talks about how her background as producer and host of TV show “Paranormal Connection” for fifteen years lends its magic to her storytelling techniques.

Dänna Dennis Wilberg, is a multi-award-winning short-film maker, Television host and author. Her stories explore the paranormal, synchronicity, and unexplained events that make life a fascinating adventure where ordinary people do extraordinary things.

Dänna's passion for writing began in fifth grade, but became an important dimension of her life after an automobile accident and associated cognitive impairment presented the challenge of relearning basic skills. She ultimately recovered and built a rewarding life exploring the unexplainable as host of the popular Paranormal Connection and Story Connection television programs and pursuing her love as a teller of tales.

Her first novel, THE RED CHAIR, was released in 2014. It introduced us to her popular protagonist, psychotherapist, Grace Sims. Two more books followed: THE GREY DOOR and THE BLACK DRESS. Dänna's second series features Suzanne Cash, a woman who is imbued with psychic powers after a near-death experience. The BORROWED TIME series debuted with BORROWED TIME - BOOK 1: BROKEN PROMISES, where Suzanne wrestles with her new powers while in pursuit of a serial killer. Suzanne returned in BORROWED TIME - BOOK 2: MISSING, published in 2022. A third installment in the series, BORROWED TIME - BOOK 3: MIND GAMES is scheduled for release this spring.
